What inspires you about this work?

I believe in the transformative power of being deeply seen and understood by another. The therapeutic relationship is unique in that it fosters this healing experience without fear of being rejected, judged, or shamed, lending to a profound sense of acceptance. I encourage my clients to dive deep into their pain, meet all parts of themselves with bravery and love, and envision a self that is integrated and a life fulfilled.

Who are you passionate about working with?

I am passionate about working with those who may be feeling stuck–in their life, relationships, or patterns. My philosophy is that every person is capable and deserving of change and recovery, and therefore, I aim to reconnect clients to hope when it once felt lost.

I’ve worked in high-intensity settings providing crisis intervention services to the incarcerated population, supported couples and individuals struggling with issues related to betrayal, sex addiction, and trauma, and provided school-based therapy for high-risk adolescents and their families.

Training & Education…

What is your approach to therapy?

I offer a holistic approach to therapy, prioritizing mindfulness, somatic work, and mind-body-spirit connection, along with evidence-based modalities like emotionally focused therapy and internal family systems therapy. My aim is that our relationship will function as a space of unwavering acceptance, encouragement, and strength as you begin to develop the confidence and skills to be this for yourself. No matter who you are or why you’re here, I believe in your healing and would be honored to partner with you.

What education and trainings have you completed?

I earned a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in marriage & family therapy. I am informed by Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and Anxiety Disorders, and Ethical Non-Monogamy (ENM) relationships.

I completed certificates in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy.

I am in the process of completing training in Level I & II Gottman Method Couple’s Therapy as well as a Mindfulness Based Addiction and Trauma Therapist Certification.
